PRIVACY POLICY
LAST UPDATED · SEPTEMBER 23, 2026
At PillWars (pillwars.fun) we collect the minimum data possible to make the game work and keep it fair. This page explains, in plain language, what data we handle and why.
WHAT WE COLLECT
- Your IP address, anonymized. As soon as you connect we trim your IP (we drop the last block, e.g. 178.105.243.x). We never store or display your full IP.
- The nickname you choose when playing. You decide it; we don't ask for your real name.
- Your approximate country, derived from the anonymized IP, for statistics only.
- Game stats: matches played, kills, deaths.
- Website usage data via Google Analytics (pages visited, browser, etc.), only if you accept cookies.
- Contact form: if you write to us, the name, email and message you submit (delivered by Web3Forms).
WHY WE USE IT
- To run the online game and connect you to matches.
- Security and moderation: detecting abuse and removing cheaters or disruptive players.
- Anonymous statistics to understand usage and improve the game.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure, working service, and your consent for Google Analytics.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Connection and moderation logs are deleted automatically after 60 days. Game stats are kept while the game stays active.
WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We do not sell or trade your data. A few external services may process technical data:
- Google Analytics: website statistics, only if you accept cookies.
- ip-api.com: only to derive the country from the anonymized IP.
- Web3Forms: only to deliver contact-form messages to us.
YOUR RIGHTS
You can ask for access to your data or for its deletion through our contact form. As the data is anonymized, in many cases we won't be able to link it to you, but we will handle any reasonable request.
COOKIES
The game itself uses no tracking cookies. Google Analytics only loads if you accept it in the cookie notice. If you reject it, nothing from Google is loaded and the game works exactly the same.

ANDROID APP
The PillWars app for Android (Solana dApp Store) is the same game and handles the same game data listed above, nothing more. It does not load Google Analytics, sets no tracking cookies and only needs internet access: it asks for no other permission on your phone. Your settings (nickname, sound, colors) are saved on your phone.
